Introduction

This page explores the biblical and theological foundations for marriage and sex, as well as pastoral counsel. We keep in mind that sex itself is an ability. We must therefore keep two things in mind. First, we need to consider sex and disability. Second, no ability can serve as the basis of an identity. We examine Jesus’ definition of humanity, Jesus’ references to the larger biblical story, and God’s vision for relationships.
